Thomas Fountain, Apple Festival and Everything Else Going on This Weekend.

There is so much going on this weekend in the great town of Ellijay, but the best of all its time for the Apple Festival!!!!!!

But one of the things that i am looking forward to most is that Thomas Fountain will be playing Saturday at 12:30 at the Apple Festival.

If you have never heard of Thomas Fountain then you are in for a treat. Thomas is truly a amazing artist and a morden day gentlemen. Please take some time to get to know him and his music.

Simply put, Thomas Fountain is a rising star in a state known for producing huge country artists. Born and raised in the mountains of North Georgia, this Ball Ground native has seen his career take off in 2014. Thomas has been entertaining audiences for several years but decided in 2013 to take a different direction with his music. He wanted to write, record, and perform his own material. The response to that life altering decision was astounding. In just his first year as a solo artist, Thomas was a Finalist for Georgia Country Artist of the year (1 of 6), toured 6 states, recorded his first EP, performed live on T.V., and his songs hit large market radio, among many other accomplishments.

Thomas Also was named 2015 JEZEBEL MAGAZINE MOST ELIGIBLE, 2014 OVERALL ARTIST OF THE YEAR and 2014 GEORGIA COUNTRY MALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR.

The Dates for the festival are as follows October 10th - 11th, 2015 and October 17th - 18th, 2015. The festival will be open from Sat. 9 AM - 6 PM -Sun. 9 AM - 5 PM, the cost od admission is $5 for adults and kids 10 and under are free.

There will be limited parking at the Festival Grounds and donations to local civic and school groups. Requested donation amount may vary. Limited handicap parking is available at the main fairgrounds entrance. If you can not locate parking are the festival itself, they will be running shuttles for your convenience.
